SPRING has definitely SPRUNG

And it is getting warmer, I don't know whether to wear a jumper or a t-shirt. And the plants can tell the seasons have changed and are starting to jump out of the soil.

This month we will be
- keeping those weeds at bay
- composting
- clearing out the chooks
- Spring Planting, including creating a Pumpkin Garden
- Merilyn's propagation group at Working bees - bring along some seeds to sow
- Having a Sausage Sizzle Lunch
- Discussing a possible trip to Heronswood, Dromana

We also have a blog which will be available for gardeners to add too, information on gardening, funny stories, brag or you wouldn't believe it grew like this pictures, ideas required, writers required. Contact Kim 8405 3746 or plentyvalleycommunitygarden@gmail.com if you are interested.

Create a Sustainable Garden Session held 1st September.

We had a fantastic turn out from the community and from our gardeners. I think all would say that it was a fun and informative session, with Wendy and Ross Mather of Food Farm creating a great team giving each other a lot of cheek and us lots of inspiration.
